Elessar

Verse corresponds to pain:
Then do both rise – in vain.
Tears are what unearth rhyme –
But not every time…

Though time wants to forget,
I shall remember yet:
The fragrance of your hair,
As your head rested there
Quiet on a shoulder,
Time stopped growing older.

But a smile is enough
To aid right now and know
That though hope is just stuff,
With all its ebb and flow,
I’ve no cause now to weep,
For this memory will keep.

While your path leads you far,
From an evening star,
Know that when you stride in oceans of sleep,
Real may not the real seem,
And when you achieve a smile in that deep,
Elessar, it’s a good dream.
