Someone dear sent me this picture.

I guess he meant the compliment but all I could see was the other part cloaked in guise of the compliment. I felt as terrible as the quote said I was. Ironically, out of the feeling came this poem.

The mind speaks past horror,
It battles with the heart,
Creating creation,
Transcending into art.

But is this terrible:
To exert poesy from pain,
To subdue the horror,
To wear away disdain?

If madness promotes creation,
If passion is thus built from strife,
Drench me with lunacy,
Surfeit me with life.

  1. I think your mind & body went through a lot more than a human being’s fair of agony.
However, the fact that you can create such beautiful art (in varied forms; poetry, prose, sketches, photographs, reels etc) is awe inspiring. To say that the fact that you have been doing that for decades is incredible would be an understatement. And You share your creations with the rest of the world (something i am personally greatful for 🤗🤗🤗🤗).
You intentionally choose to project an image on Instagram which makes doesn’t make you look worse for the wear, because as you said, tears are not well received by all. You look beyond all the rough cards that life has dealt and just carry on with panache & grace . Even while talking(or writing captions on your posts) about a torrent of emotions you are eloquent. THAT to me looks like a herculean task. It truly does.
Carry on my love, we are so used to seeing you and your creations, i don’t fancy living without them.

    Lots of love 💖💖💖💖💖
